Background

The ISO 26000 standard is the essential repository for social responsibility for Sustainable Development. It offers definitions, principles and concepts related to social responsibility, agreed upon and accepted by the different stakeholders. It also provides guidelines for the implementation of a CSR approach, and a framework for its integration into existing management systems. Discover, during these two days, the keys of this reference system, how to make a diagnosis on the bases of ISO 26000 and how to build an action plan in a logic of socially responsible approach

  • Its origin, its stakes.
  • The definitions and concepts of Social Responsibility
  • ISO 26000 and the other founding texts.
  • The 7 basic principles to respect for any Social Responsibility approach.
  • The general articulation of the central issues of ISO 26000.

2 Identify the challenges of the process through the 7 central questions of ISO 26000

  • Understand and identify ways to engage on the main central themes of CSR:

3 Understand the main steps of implementing a CSR approach at the heart of the organization • Diagnostic :

  • identify, prioritize its stakeholders;
  • determine its scope of responsibility;
  • identify and prioritize issues;
  • establish an inventory of his business. • Deployment :
  • understand and identify ways to deploy the SAR approach throughout the organization;
  • identify concrete implications, create an action plan. • Accountability and recognition:
  • posture to adopt, means and key resources;
  • to ensure credibility.
