Background

The "Halal Label" is a distinctive mark owned by IMANOR attesting compliance with Moroccan standards specifying the requirements for Halal products. These standards were developed with the support of the Higher Council of Ulema and all the parties concerned on the basis of of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and standards already existing in other Islamic countries.

Content

Requirements of Halal standard

  • Know and master the requirements of the Moroccan standard NM 08.0.800 on Halal foods;
  • Discover all Halal aspects related to products and services;
  • To know how to promote and animate Halal on a daily basis.

Food safety

  • Know the basics of food safety

The HACCP standard

  • Know and understand the HACCP methodology;
  • Be able to analyze, evaluate and prevent the risks inherent to the products and processes of his company;
  • Implement a HACCP approach.

 Good Hygiene Practices

  • Know the main sources of contamination of food products;
  • Understand, to better apply, all procedures and instructions relating to the hygiene and safety of food in the company;
  • To be able to identify any situation or event that may result in a risk to the food safety of consumers.
