What we do?

The Moroccan institute of standardization (IMANOR), is created by the law n ° 12-06 relative to the standardization, the certification and the accreditation, in the form of Public Establishment endowed with the moral personality and the financial autonomy, under the supervision of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, Investment and Digital Economy. IMANOR is administered by a Board of Directors composed of representatives of:

• Ministerial Departments,
• Professional organizations,
• Research and training institutions,
• Consumer associations.
• Laboratories and technical centers.

In line with its strategic development plan, IMANOR, driven by the desire to be useful to the development of the economy and society, aims to put Moroccan companies in a position to adapt to international standards, and to the requirements of by providing standards and conformity certification processes, and by providing them with the necessary information, guidance and training. For this purpose, the IMANOR policy revolves around the following axes:

Develop standards relevant to the market and useful for public policies; Allow Moroccan companies access to optimal conditions, all the certifications required to strengthen their competitiveness in their target markets; Support the economic fabric to better understand standards through targeted and satisfactory training; Facilitating economic operators access to information on standards and associated activities; Surround yourself with the necessary guarantees to promote yourself to economic operators, as a reliable partner in its fields of activity.
